Registered Dietitian, Endo Warrior, Women’s Health Advocate, and Expert, Brooke Miner explains:
I work with women to help them better understand their bodies, their hormones, their diagnoses, and ultimately their health. I too struggled with debilitating cycles, GI distress, chronic fatigue, and yes, fertility. I was “eating healthy” and I’ve always had a passion for exercise. But what I didn’t know was how the things I was doing (or not doing) were affecting me.
After 12 long years, I finally received my diagnosis. Stage 4 Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis. My doctor explained to me that my insides looked like “a bowl of spaghetti with superglue in the sauce”. Talk about a visual. Having an answer was a step up from not knowing, but it still wasn’t a solution.
This pivotal moment changed my life. It flipped the script. I began evaluating things I hadn’t considered before. The result of my lengthy journey to discover both answers and solutions, brought me to what is now my life’s work. I decided to dedicate myself to learning everything there is to know about women’s hormonal health so that I could help as many others successfully navigate their own journey while feeling educated, supported, and most importantly, empowered.
My love of science and belief in food as the best medicine led me to complete 7+ years of rigorous academic study in which I earn a Master’s in Medical Nutrition Therapy. I take a functional approach to support your body, the female body, in doing its job the best it can through all of life’s stages. The female body is complex, but it is equally strong, intelligent, and resilient.
I reside right here in Central Florida with my little family that includes a couple of fur kiddos. Gardening, sunshine, exploring new recipes, and enjoying the theme parks are how I like to fill my free time. Thankfully my free time is limited in a good way as I am now a mother endlessly chasing after my energetic toddler!
So if you’re a woman who…
• is pregnant or trying to become pregnant
• is postpartum and/or lactating
• suffers from endometriosis or PCOS
• just wants to feel energized and confident in your skin
…then you’ve come to the right place, and I am happy you’re here. I can’t wait to work with you!
