Counseling for Executives, Business Owners
& Professionals

You can close an eight-figure deal before lunch and find yourself arguing at home that evening about what to have for dinner.

Work pressure, marriage problems, parenting, anxiety, and major life decisions don’t disappear because your career is going well. In fact, sometimes the contrast between feeling confident and capable professionally and feeling frustrated at home can make personal struggles even harder to understand.

At work, you may be the person others turn to for answers. You make difficult decisions, manage competing priorities, solve problems, and lead people through complicated situations. Then you get home and find yourself having the same argument with your spouse for the third time this month. Or you’re second-guessing how much to push your teenager, struggling with an aging parent, or wondering why a relatively small disagreement has you so frustrated.

It can leave you thinking: How can I make decisions that affect hundreds of employees but feel completely unsure about how to handle this?

Professional Success Doesn’t Automatically Translate to
Life at Home

The skills that make you successful professionally don’t always work the same way in your personal relationships.

At work, there are often clear objectives, defined roles, deadlines, and measurable outcomes. At home, emotions, history, expectations, personalities, and relationships are all part of the equation.

You may be used to identifying a problem and finding a solution. Your spouse may simply want to feel heard. You may see a clear path forward for your child, while your teenager sees things very differently. You might approach a family disagreement logically, only to discover that logic isn’t really what the disagreement is about.

Communication is certainly part of the issue. But when frustration has already taken over, simply trying to “communicate better” isn’t always enough.

The question becomes: How do you get past the frustration and have conversations that are actually positive and productive?

Counseling Isn’t Just
About Work

Private counseling for professionals, executives, and business owners isn’t necessarily about becoming more successful at work. Sometimes it’s about making sure the person who handles pressure all day has somewhere to let it go.

Counseling gives you a private place to talk openly about frustrations, recurring conflicts, anxiety, family dynamics, and decisions without having to manage anyone else’s reaction.

Together, you and your therapist can look at what’s actually happening beneath recurring disagreements. You can identify patterns in the way you communicate, recognize where emotions are getting in the way, and develop practical strategies for approaching difficult conversations differently.

The goal isn’t to eliminate disagreement. It’s to help turn irritating, repetitive arguments into more productive conversations.

That might involve your spouse or partner, your child, an adult parent, another family member, or anyone else in your life with whom you’d like to have a stronger relationship.

Success Doesn’t Mean You Have to Figure
Everything Out Yourself

Being successful professionally doesn’t mean every other part of life comes easily.

Sometimes the same person who can confidently navigate a complicated business decision needs a neutral place to sort through a difficult conversation at home. That’s not unusual. The situations are different, and they require different tools.

If work is going well but stress, anxiety, marriage, parenting, or family relationships feel harder than they should, counseling can give you a private place to work through what’s happening and find a more productive way forward.

Winter Garden Wellness provides private counseling for professionals, executives, business owners, couples, parents, and families in Winter Garden and throughout Florida.

Counseling That Works
With a Busy Schedule

We understand that consistency can be difficult when you’re managing a demanding career, a business, a family, or all three.

Winter Garden Wellness offers counseling appointments in person at our Winter Garden office as well as virtual appointments for clients throughout Florida.

Morning, afternoon, and evening appointments are available, and you’re welcome to switch between in-office and virtual sessions or adjust your usual appointment day or time when your schedule changes.

That flexibility is intentional. Counseling works best when you can attend consistently, and a demanding schedule shouldn’t make that unnecessarily difficult.

A Private Space Where You
Don’t Have to Be “On”

People in leadership positions often spend much of their day being the person who is expected to know what to do.

Counseling gives you an hour where you don’t have to have the answer.

You can talk through the things you’re reluctant to discuss at work. You can fully examine decisions before making them. You can say what you’re actually thinking without worrying about how it will affect your employees, colleagues, clients, or family.

And you can develop practical ways to manage stress, communicate more effectively, and respond differently when the same problems inevitably show up again.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect in my first counseling session?

Your first session is simply a chance for us to get to know you. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you hope to accomplish, and answer any questions you may have. It’s a relaxed conversation, not a test, and our goal is to make you feel comfortable and supported from the very beginning.

The length of counseling varies from person to person. Some people see improvement in just a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. Together, we’ll create a plan that makes sense for your needs and adjust it as you grow.

Not at all. Counseling isn’t only for people in crisis. Many clients come in simply wanting to improve communication, reduce stress, or gain more clarity about their lives. Everyone can benefit from having a safe space to process and grow.

Yes. Your privacy is extremely important to us. What you share in counseling stays between you and your counselor, with the exception of a few legal and ethical obligations to ensure your safety. We’ll review confidentiality fully in your first session.

Most clients begin with weekly sessions, then may move to biweekly or monthly as they make progress. We’ll talk about what schedule works best for you and adjust as needed.

Yes. We provide in-person sessions in our Winter Garden office, as well as secure virtual sessions for those who prefer meeting from home. Both options allow you to receive the same level of personalized care.

Counseling can address a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, relationship struggles, life transitions, and more. It can also be helpful if you’re not facing a crisis but simply want to better understand yourself and your goals.

If you’ve been wondering whether life could feel easier, calmer, or more balanced, counseling may be a good step. The best way to know for sure is to schedule a quick phone consultation and see how it feels.

This is not a full session — it’s simply a short call that gives you the chance to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and get a sense of whether counseling may be right for you. Many people are surprised at how helpful even this first conversation can be.

No, not directly. We put an emphasis on privacy, and avoiding diagnostic labels. Insurance requires a diagnosis, and removes a portion of your privacy. That said, if you would rather not pay out of pocket there are a couple of different options. You can use out-of-network provider benefits if your insurance plan offers this. You would pay out of pocket, and then submit a superbill to your insurance company for them to reimburse you. You could also use Health Savings Account (HSA). The HSA does not require paying out of pocket, paperwork, or a diagnosis.

Yes. We offer a complimentary phone consultation so you can ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and get a sense of whether we’re a good fit for your needs.

We offer a concierge level of care, which means you’ll always feel heard and supported — never rushed. Our approach is deeply personal, flexible, and focused on your unique needs.

Getting started is simple. You can call our office 321.392.3390, email us, or use our online scheduling link to request an appointment. We’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions.

It’s important that you feel comfortable with your counselor. If for any reason you don’t feel the fit is right, please let us know. We’ll work with you to adjust so you receive the support you need.

Absolutely. Counseling can help with specific struggles, but it also improves day-to-day living by building resilience, improving relationships, and helping you feel more grounded and confident.

I highly recommend Bryan for individual and couples therapy. He always made me feel comfortable and I felt like I could be myself which is super important when going to counseling.

icon Tessa L.

I met with Bryan for about 8 months. I began meeting with him individually (for about 5 months) and for the final 3 months, my partner and I went together. We cannot be any more emphatic when we say that our experience with Bryan was wonderful.

Bryan demonstrates a superb level of care and commitment to his clients. He fosters an environment of openness, honesty, and acceptance that allows clients to confront their flaws and limitations in order to heal and make changes for the better. It is clear that Bryan is in this profession for all the right reasons and is gifted as a counselor. I would strongly recommend him to anyone.

Thank you Bryan!

I went alone in hopes that he could help with some relationship issues I was unable to solve on my own. Bryan has been nothing short of a miracle in my life.

icon Maria F.

The time and money we spent were without a doubt, one of the very best investments we have made for our marriage. The care and commitment with which Bryan treats his clients are outstanding.
